1. What Does the “Multiple Data Source” Error Mean?

To advertise in Meta’s platforms ( known as Facebook), you need to have a product catalog which is a container that brings together information about items you want to promote in your ads.

Easy ads creates your catalog automatically once you connect to it and select the products you want to promote. In this catalog, you have your data source or product feed which contains all your products’ information, and it is created automatically by Easy Ads as well.

However, having multiple data sources within your catalog creates the error above. To solve it, you simply need to delete any other data source that you have and only leave the Easy Ads feed.

2. How to Delete a Data Source?

To delete the other data sources, you need to follow these steps:

You need to open your Commerce manager and click on Data sources:

You need to only keep the Easy Ads feed/data source which looks something like this:

Delete all the other data feeds/ data sources by clicking on each one of them. You will see something like this:

Then, you click on “settings” and scroll down to click on the "delete" button and delete each data feed this way:

In case you have two Easy Ads feeds, you need to delete the old data field and only keep one Easy ads data feed.

P.S. In case you couldn't do that, you need to make sure that you have full control over your business manager and you need the Manage Catalog permission in Meta Business Manager so you can delete the other data feeds.

3. How to delete a Shopify data source?

The Shopify data feed looks something like this:

You can’t delete it from your Facebook Commerce manager. You need to open your Shopify store.

In your Shopify store go to settings.
