What does this error mean?

This error occurs when the Facebook Pixel you selected in the "Connect" step does not match the Facebook Pixel you have installed on your store.

Easy Ads for Facebook Ads is a Meta Badged Ad Technology Partner, meaning, the app uses the same API as your Meta Business Manager and reflects your Meta Business Manager setup.

If you're getting a setup error, it means there's an issue with your setup.

What happens if I ignore this error?

Failing to launch your ads with a Pixel that is installed on your store results in many issues, including and not limited to:

Inability to use Advantage + Catalogue Ads: The type of ads Easy Ads for Facebook Ads launches is Advantage + Catalogue ads. Not having your Facebook Pixel installed correctly on your store results in not being able to use our app properly and losing the potential for delivering more relevant and engaging ads.

Inaccurate Tracking and Data Collection: Unreliable measurement of user actions (page views, clicks, conversions) resulting in challenges in assessing ad effectiveness and user behavior.

Limited Optimization: Ineffective campaign optimization due to missing tracking data resulting in higher costs and suboptimal performance.
