I can’t select/see a Meta (Facebook) ad account
If an ad account’s name is grayed out and you’re unable to click on it to select it, this means that our ad account is restricted from advertising.
How to fix this:
In this case, this ad account cannot be used with Easy Ads for Facebook. We recommend appealing this decision or proceeding with another ad account.
If you can’t see an ad account on the "Facebook Ad Account" dropdown, this means one of two things:
Your Facebook profile does not have admin access to this specific ad account.
This Meta Business Manager you connected does not have access to this ad account.
How to fix this:
Issue (1): Your Facebook profile does not have admin access to this specific ad account.
Add the Facebook profile connected to Easy Ads for Facebook as an admin on your ad account. Here’s how: Return to the Easy Ads for Facebook app and hard refresh the browser page you're on (Press and hold Ctrl + Shift + R for Windows OR Command + Shift + R for OS" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" role="link" class="csh-markdown csh-markdown-link csh-markdown-link-text">Add a profile to a Facebook ad account to delete the cache.
Connect your Meta Business Manager then select the ad account you want to use.
Issue (2): This Meta Business Manager you connected does not have access to this ad account.
Change the Meta Business Manager selection you made and choose the correct Meta Business Manager with access to the ad account you want to use.
Request access to this ad account using the Meta Business Manager you connected with the app. Here's how: Request access to an ad account
If you’re getting a “Select Ad Account” error message inside the”Facebook Ad Account” dropdown, this means that you don’t have any ad accounts associated with the Business Manager account selected in the “Business Account” dropdown.
How to fix this:
There are two solutions you can opt for:
Solution 1: Add an ad account to your Business Manager.
Follow this guide: How to add an ad account to a Business Manager account.
Return to the Easy Ads for Facebook app and click on the refresh icon next to “Facebook Ad Account”
Your ad account will be visible now and you can select it.
Solution 2: Use another Business Manager.
Select a Business Manager account that has an ad account from the “Business Manager” dropdown.
